Leah & Jim’s Byron View Farm Wedding
A charming location, relaxed styling and a barefooted bride – sounds like a day well spent in paradise if you ask us and we couldn’t love Leah and Jim’s intimate Byron Bay wedding more. Having Brendan and Camilla of Figtree Wedding Photography behind the camera all day was just another bonus and the pair beautifully captured our newlyweds in all their loved-up glory.
A backdrop as beautiful as Byron View Farm needs little decoration so, aside from a flower-festooned driftwood arbour, Leah and Jim left much of their ceremony styling to Mother Nature. Byron Bay Weddings are responsible for the lush reception setup on the shady verandah of the farm’s cottage and we’re digging the cool combination of greenery and Edison bulbs suspended over the long trestle table.
Despite the laidback vibe, self-confessed foodies Leah and Jim ensured there was plenty of food for all, and Leah tells us the spread by Byron Bay’s Fig Tree Restaurant received rave reviews, “The food was everything Jim and I wished for.” She says. “Our guests loved it and raved about it weeks after the wedding. I am lucky enough that our photographer snapped a couple of food shots for me to drool over when I go through my wedding album!”
