High-school sweethearts since age 16, Lauri and Jordan have a whole lotta history together and they are about to make a whole lot more. With CJ Williams behind the lens, they tied the knot in a rustic Perth church, celebrated at Darlington Estate and they’ve now got a baby on the way!

Quaint and simple were keywords in the planning of this wedding and Lauri and Jordan preferred to do things their way. “We didnt have a particular theme, we just wanted the day to feel like us. As a result, we didn’t really pay much attention to tradition or what a wedding should look like.” They explain.

The couple already had a crew of creative friends, including the insanely talented Fox & Rabbit (the powdery green foliage and lush, white flower bouquets say it all), so choosing vendors was a cakewalk. When it came to all other decisions, Lauri and Jordan followed their gut and they suggest others do the same –

“Listen to the advice from your well-meaning aunt/friends/neighbour/total strangerand then go right ahead and do whatever you want to do. They’ll all eventually forgive you for not having a wedding cake, not wearing any shoes, and dressing your bridesmaids in white!” Lauri laughs.

Lauri wasn’t fussed on finding a designer dress - instead she had one handmade, with sheer sleeves and intricate embroidery, and boy, did she look beautiful! MUA Karlien Kemp is responsible for her glowing look while Aaron Paul styled her wavy locks, with a flower crown thrown in for good measure.

The couple kept things small and personal - they penned their own vows and opted for an intimate, unplugged ceremony.

In the case of Darlington Estate, it was love at first sight - it was literally the first venue Lauri and Jordan looked at and they were sold straightaway. The winery also took care of catering, which meant the couple had one less thing to worry about.

CJ Williams impresses once again and her snaps of Lauri and Jordan’s special day are truly stunning. Tonal and full of emotion, she always manages to capture the vibe of the day.
