Jim & Lenka’s Abbotsford Convent Wedding
The Abbotsford Convent made the perfect setting for this beautiful autumn wedding, and was an easy choice for Jim & Lenka, who love to cycle along the Yarra and visit the neighbouring children’s farm. Their day was beautifully captured by The Simple Things Studio.
Lenka looked stunning in an elegant number by Lisa Ho with a simple birdcage veil. She brightened her look with a contemporary bouquet by Melbourne florist, Jaclyn Roma, which featured cheerful billy buttons and succulents.
The elegant styling, with subtle 1920’s tones, was inspired by the Art Deco engagement ring that Jim had custom made for Lenka. Terrarium centrepieces were created with plants sourced from friends’ gardens, and for their bonbonniere, made traditional Czech gingerbread hearts and jars of tomato kasoundi, using ingredients from Jim’s Dad’s farm.
