We love a barefoot bride and groom and they don’t come much cuter than Noosa couple Lauren and Levi. The pair met working in the aisles of their local supermarket as teenagers and have since grown up together, studied together, travelled together and started their own smoothie business together.

The couple’s beach elopement was certainly a lesson in togetherness. The two took off in an old Kombi with Janneke Storm and her camera in tow, ready to capture the relaxed “I do’s” on the surfer-dotted coast. “It was always going to be somewhere in the Noosa National Park as it’s our favourite place to explore, swim and frolic in the wilderness,” tells Lauren, “but we didn’t pick the final spot till the afternoon before.”

The vows were kept short and sweet, officiated by Kim Morrison and witnessed by only two guests and the couple’s pups, Charlie and Hugo. The location itself needed little decoration, bar a a floral garland by Heavenly Blooms tied between two ancient gums. Once husband and wife, the pair sat down to a private picnic before heading to the waves for a sunset swim.
