If it were up to these two, Mel and Sam would spend every waking moment outdoors, so a relaxed beach picnic was the perfect setting for their champagne-infused engagement shoot, captured by Trent & Jessie.

The Sunshine Coasters have been in it for the long haul, sharing their love of the beach, music and camping for the last eight years. Mel tells us “we spend most our time either riding through the hinterland on Sam’s Triumph, at the beach with our dog Jax, or drinking beers on a picnic rug somewhere peaceful.”

Having visited local bridal event A Darling Affair, the pair were lucky enough to win a styled engagement session with a dream team of Queensland creatives, including The Beauty Case on hair and makeup, styling by Willow Tree Creative, flowers from Heavenly Blooms and of course Trent & Jessie behind the camera. “The team made the whole shoot so relaxing and enjoyable,” they tell us. We reckon that bottle of Moët might’ve helped too.
