Inspired by the shifting palettes of the sea, this oceanic editorial was the vision of Auckland stylist Truly and Madly, who teamed up with photographer Christina Scmidt to bring us these wild and windswept scenes.
Head to toe in Rue de Seine, the muses move with the flow of the ocean, harmonising with the wild landscape at Piha Beach. Organic elements are woven throughout the setting, with a table dressed in raw silk, foraged tumbleweed, natural coral and handcrafted ceramic wares.
Raw paper calligraphy menus by The Little North Sea Studio are finished with gilded ink to complement the gold-leaf cake crafted by Magnolia Kitchen. Naturally dyed silks by Feathers & Stone drape over an illusion tipi – the elusive frame for an ever-changing setting.
