Best of 2015: Dapper Grooms
We haven’t forgotten the fellas! We love seeing a groom’s individual style shine through on his wedding day, and Nouba gents don’t disappoint. Be it in a sharp tux expertly executed or a barefooted beau throwing tradition to the sea breeze, these are but a handful of grooms who caught our eye this year…
One of the sharpest grooms we’ve seen all year, Myles well and truly looked the part in a bespoke Charlie Allen dinner jacket suit. Captured by John Benavente, this Byron Bay wedding was every bit as polished as the groom himself!
Debonair Danny rocked a half-head undercut and a cobalt blue three-piece by Tailor on Ten. With a colourful cast of wildlife, this Donnelly River wedding was captured by Perth lenswoman Jenna Mason.
Dark rimmed specs, a skinny tie and slim-fit black suit by Jack London, Tom was the embodiment of the hipster groom. Contrary to his serious expression, this farm festival wedding was a laid back affair, captured by Luke Going Photography.
We love a beach wedding and this dapper groom looked right at home on the sandy shores of Mornington in up-turned chinos, leather sandals and a blue Jack London blazer. Captured by Beck Rocchi, this coastal wedding got a ton of love on the blog!
There was so much to love about this cultural wedding by Nina Claire Photography, with rice fights, amazing bridal henna and traditional Indian attire high on the list.
Doug’s relaxed Politix / Jack London getup was the perfect choice for his beach-boho meets English country garden wedding, captured by Beck Rocchi. You won’t be surprised to hear that his gorgeous bride scored a spot in this year’s top bridal too!
We love a groom who goes his own way and in his homemade braces and plaid Jack London pants, Sam had no qualms straying from tradition. Captured by Alex Kwong, this quirky Adelaide wedding had Nouba written all over it!
A floral print shirt and sky blue blazer by Politix had this cheeky chappy on our list from the get go. Captured by Brown Paper Parcel, this relaxed outback wedding was as chilled as the newlyweds themselves.
In a crisp coastal palette, Aaron looked every bit the dapper beach groom, wearing a light linen suit by Oscar Hunt. We loved everything about this relaxed Tassie wedding, captured by Jonathan Wherrett.
Ok, so this bearded babe isn’t technically a ‘groom’ but his fabulous look is definitely a favourite from 2015! From a creative collaboration by Raven and the Rose and Stevie Lee, we loved sharing this equal love shoot earlier in the year.
