As you recover from your post-Christmas food coma, what better time to take a look back on this year’s most epic wedding cakes? We’re lining up the most pinned, clicked, commented, liked and (and licked?) creations of 2018.

Every year we’re wowed by the imagination and skill of our Aussie and New Zealand cakers, and 2018 was no different. From the delicious to the sublime, the lineup features architectural forms, artistic techniques and the moodiest colour palettes to make your gran frown. Not to mention the drool-worthy flavours and unexpected ingredients.

And while we’re talking ingredients, we were pretty stoked to see a record number of vegan weddings cakes and desserts this year. So awesome! Nothing puts smiles on our dials like seeing couples stay true to their values on their wedding day.

Whatever your flavour or style, we’re pretty sure you’re going to love this little lineup!
