While there’s been no ‘official’ proposal, Hilary and Curt tell us they’ve have been proposing to each other for the last three years and the answer has always been yes.
The couple’s friend and florist, Bridget of Poppy & Willow Blooms, was itching to experiment with wearable flowers and pulled onboard Kathryn Edmonds to help style the engagement shoot with vintage pieces and wearable macrame from Mac and Moore.
The afternoon played out at Perth’s beautiful Point Peron, chosen by photographer Natalija of I Heart Weddings. “The point is currently under threat by plans to build a marina which breaks my heart” Nat tells us. “So I try to shoot there as often as I can now to showcase it’s untouched beauty.”
Hilary and Curt plan to tie the knot on a road trip through the States when they head back to Hilary’s home in Vancouver. They’ll have two small beach parties in both Canada and Australia to celebrate with loved ones.
