When Tiarn and Daniel’s original wedding venue fell through, it was as if it was meant to be when they stumbled upon Nanga Bush Camp in Dwellingup, WA. Captured by the artful lens of CJ Williams Photography, the pair took full advantage of the rugged outback setting of Australia’s south west.

The blank canvas venue was ideal for Tiarn and Dan, who wanted to be able to bring in their own vendors and caterers. “We wanted somewhere we could have the ceremony and reception at the same place,” Tiarn explains. “Having onsite accommodation for all our guests was an added bonus. We just loved the river and the huge tall trees and knew it was exactly what we wanted.”

Tiarn and Dan engaged stylist/planner Barefoot and Boho to bring their wedding vision to life. The team took care of everything from floristry to the ceremony setup and rustic reception setting. Tiarn swears by their choice of hiring a wedding planner, “I was so calm and collected the morning of my wedding knowing that everything was taken care of,” she shares. “Suzie was our godsend for the day. She really went above and beyond and created the perfect setting.”

As for the threads, the all-white bridal party were the perfect contrast against the moody the forest backdrop. Tiarn worked with bridal designers Paula & Jo for her long sleeve, lace mesh wedding dress with dramatic illusion neckline. Ooh la la!

It was important to the couple to keep all aspects of the day relaxed and fun. They chose celebrant Married by Claire for her warm, personalised approach and musician Oliver Halyorsen to provide the acoustic soundtrack to their ceremony.

In keeping with the casual vibes of the day, food truck Paella on the Move dished up paella and wood fired pizza cooked onsite. Dessert specialists Sieve and Stone created a masterpiece grazing table of sweet treats, ensuring guests were well and truly full before moving on to the outdoor whiskey station, which Tiarn tells us one of the highlights of the night.
