When a wedding photographer and a head chef tie the knot, you know you’re in for something pretty special. Sarah and Perry chose the iconic Boyd Baker House for their intimate wedding and said their I do’s in the dramatic setting of the surrounding forest. The party continued to the sounds of The Shuffle Club, and guests were treated to an epic feast, designed and prepped by the groom himself.
Sarah worked closely with a dressmaker to design her exquisite lace gown, while Perry looked sharp in Ted Baker. The couple garnered inspiration from the historic venue and styled the day with an eclectic, retro feel with mismatching chairs and tableware sourced from various op shops. Sarah’s bestie took care of the flowers, creating the bouquets, boutonnière and arrangements from unusual florals sourced on a 4am trip to the flower markets.
Sarah and Perry’s Boyd Baker House wedding was beautifully captured by Oli Samson, who Sarah describes as “an absolute master”. Sarah, I couldn’t agree more.
