Byron Bay meets Adelaide Hills for this Earthy Wedding Inspiration
Bringing together some of South Australia’s finest creatives, this free-spirited shoot brings a little bit of Byron Bay to the Adelaide Hills. The collaboration was dreamt up by Jenna Collier of Wonderland Invites, who teamed up with Jessica Mary Photography and Found Collective to bring her vision to life.
“The shoot was inspired by the laid-back vibes of Byron Bay,” Jenna explains. “Marybank Farm provided numerous picturesque spots for us to set up different areas, including a bell tent, chill out area, tablescape and outdoor ceremony area.”
A custom-built arbour styled with foraged blooms, dried palms and pampas grasses created a dramatic focal point in the natural setting. For a sweet touch, real life couple, Annie and Rob, were reunited with their wedding celebrant for the ceremony scenes. Jenna explains “Laura Brook actually married Annie and Rob, so their expressions and bond were genuine.”
Jenna tells us that these genuine elements and styling lent an air of authenticity to the shoot. “It could have been a real wedding if we had some guests!” She says. “There were so many wonderful Adelaide based suppliers who took part in this shoot and gave their creative all to making everything about the final edits so beautiful. Jessica Mary, our photographer really squeezed every ounce of beauty, texture and detail out of this mammoth shoot in the Adelaide Hills.”
