Chelsea & Adam’s Eclectic Byron Bay Wedding
This ultra-chic couple rocked their ‘chilled yet sophisticated’ vibe, with a wedding held at the gorgeous Fig Tree Restaurant in Byron Bay. Having visited Byron on a break, Chelsea and Adam knew that the cruisy beach town was ideal for their relaxed destination wedding.
Zoe Morley captured the intimate nuptials of 60 people, snapping all the right moments… like when the groom failed to sabre the Champagne bottle, instead cutting it clean in half!
Whilst Adam practiced his Champagne sabering, Chelsea practiced her ‘wifey’ skills before the big day – making the wedding cake herself. “It was a lemon yoghurt cake with a Swiss meringue icing – thank you Donna Hay!”
In terms of the décor, the couple loved that the venue spoke for itself with spectacular views of the lighthouse, the beach and surrounding gardens. Keeping things minimal, the bride and groom worked towards a relaxed vintage theme by using eclectic chairs and raw timber tables from The Wedding Shed.
