Surrounded by eucalyptus trees and wide open spaces, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Amy and Aaron tied the knot somewhere in the countryside. Turns out, despite it’s inner city location, Collingwood Children’s Farm has the country Victoria vibe down-pat and we can’t get enough of this charming affair, captured by Pierre Curry.

The story of this pair’s engagement is pretty epic – it involves Aaron taking a sneaky trip overseas to surprise Amy who had just arrived in London after a holiday with her bestie, as well as some strategically planned photographs of our groom holding ‘Love, Actually’ style signs in front of the Eifel Tower (cue dreamy sighs.)

The Collingwood Children’s Farm was a symbolic choice for this pair and we love the sentiment behind it, “I grew up on a farm in Northern Victoria and Amy, in metropolitan Melbourne.” Aaron tells us. “We wanted a ceremony and reception that reflected who we are as a couple and the bringing together of our lives.” Can these two get any sweeter?

When it came to finding her Justin Alexander dress, Amy’s experience was as easy as any bride could hope! “It was the first one I tried on and I purchased it that same day!” She tells us. A sharp suit by Oscar Hunt and an even sharper shave at Men + Co had Aaron well and truly wedding-ready.

Self-confessed foodies, Amy and Aaron enlisted the venue's onsite Farm Café to dish up the goods, and these tough critics weren’t disappointed. “We absolutely loved the decadent spread that the farm put on for us – no one was going hungry and there was no 'alternating chicken/beef' in sight!”

Lark Music read the room perfectly, according to Amy and Aaron. “They really felt the mood and played different sets accordingly.” Most importantly, everyone was on the d-floor well into the night.
