I am Damien, a dreamer and nomad at heart. I never really planned to become a wedding photographer but documenting the beautiful complexity between people, emotions, places and cultures got me hooked. I crossed paths with Nastia in 2008 and we quickly became inseparable as partners in life and wanderers exploring the world and documenting weddings together.
Our style can be described as raw, cinematic, emotive and timeless. Whilst I dream up scenes inspired by some of my favourite films, Nastia’s attention is often focused on smaller details like the flowers in your hair or the texture of your veil. Both our styles complement each other to build a rich story in a cinematic way.
Light is the core of our work and we are always up for experimenting with it in an intentional and artful way. Our love for travel reportage means we won’t be arranging you into awkward poses, as we much prefer to capture all the brave and honest moments. When you look back through the photographs of your wedding day we want you to relive it through the details and often overlooked or quiet moments that made it so special.

A little on your process
Light is the core of our work and we are always up for experimenting with it to create unique images. Our love for travel reportage means we won’t be arranging you into awkward poses but we will be capturing honest moments with a strong sense of place. When you look back through the photographs of your wedding day we want you to remember it exactly as it was through all the raw details that made it so special.
Areas of service and travel policy
We are based in Sydney and love photographing local weddings but we also travel to Europe every summer and never refuse an offer to travel to exotic places when there is a great story to tell. When capturing stories overseas, we usually require compensation for flights from Sydney or Brussels depending on where we are at the time of the wedding.
