The two founders of Petal Met Sugar met several years ago when Elsa, pastry chef, was asked to cater the wedding of florist, Angela. After working and collaborating on the wedding so successfully, the two realised florals and desserts together were a perfect combination. From there, Elsa and Angela decided to go into business and create a one-stop-shop for flowers, desserts and cakes for weddings and celebrations.
In 2015, the Petal Met Sugar workshop & patisserie opened in Woolloomooloo and quickly became a popular spot for locals and admirers to visit for the beautiful floral selection and taste the delectable signature desserts.
With a focus on weddings and events, Petal Met Sugar is dedicated to creating beautiful and bespoke desserts, cakes and florals for our couples.
Using gorgeous and seasonal flowers and flavours, our small team work with you, providing a personalised experience all the way up to your wedding to ensure no details are missed.
