The Wedding Nest is a boutique wedding gift registry specialising in unique gifts that are design and style focused, not available on other registries. Our proposition is that a couple’s wedding registry should style their home. We have an extensive but well edited collection of beautiful homewares, statement furniture and unique artworks – along with the registry basics – collated by 4 interior design styles.
We offer couples the pieces found in interiors magazines, blogs and design homeware shops and have a strong focus on boutique brands, many exclusive to us, including Penny Farthing Design House, Robert Gordon, Mud Australia, Bonnie and Neil and Lumiere Art + Co. To ensure that the registry is just as much an expression of a couple’s style as the wedding itself, we display the wedding registry to guests as an online magazine, together with inspirational ‘dream house’ interiors images selected by the bride and groom.

A little on the process
Upon registering, for free, a couple will shop the site and create a shortlist by adding gifts to their registry. A ‘Lookbook’ is created where couples can personalise their registry by writing messages to guests about each gift, uploading an image of themselves and by choosing background and concept images dependent on their style.
We provide complimentary Invitation Inserts if you want to include details on your invitations all your guests need to know is our URL.
Wishing Well and Honeymoon funds are available as well as options for couples to include their own gifts. We aim to deliver about 80-90% of your registry 4-6 weeks after your wedding. If you are in the Sydney Metro area, delivery is free of charge.
Areas of service
We service Australia wide. For those outside the Sydney metropolitan area, the cost of freight is usually in the order of $200 – $350. Costs can be reduced by not selecting furniture pieces if you live further away.
