DIY: Perspex Seating Planner
On-trend as always, the party princesses at Lenzo show us how to whip up a seriously stylish (and surprisingly easy!) perspex seating planner.
Perfect for crafty couples with a contemporary aesthetic, this modern design is not your typical homespun DIY wedding project.
We love this project because it’s so easy to make it your own. The Lenzo team paired their perspex planner with floral garlands by Raven and the Rose, but you can back yours onto any surface or texture that will make the white text pop – foliage, timber, fabric, gold leaf – whatever works in with your overall wedding theme.
What you’ll need
- Large perspex sheet
- Wooden board
- White paint pen
- Sticky tape
- Text printed out
Step by step
1. Type your text in a beautiful font and print the sheets out.
2. Stick the text sheets on a wooden board underneath the Perspex – alternatively, you can just stick them to the floor.
3. Using a paint pen, trace over the letters.
4. Let the ink dry and violia – you now have an amazing, bespoke seating chart.
TIP: Add something behind the clear Perspex sheet – we used flowers, but you can press confetti, leaves, glitter or anything else your heart desires!
