Madeleine & David’s Luxe Farm Wedding
A friend’s picturesque farm made for an incredible location for Madeleine and David’s wedding, styled with a ‘resort’ theme in mind – think a fresh palette of whites and greens and a relaxed lounge setup.
We can’t help but get a slightly Scandi vibe from the clean, crisp colour palette but perhaps that’s partly due to their photographer – with such a stunning Townsville landscape as the backdrop and Aleksandar Jason’s cool aesthetic, the wedding snaps were always going to be magical, and let’s be honest, the sweet little deer helped too!
Keeping everyone in the one place was a priority for these newlyweds and they were delighted with the overall setup, “We had the ceremony right next to the reception marquee.” says Madeleine, “Once the ceremony finished and the bridal party went off for photos our guests could move straight into the marquee for champagne and a huge antipasto station (courtesy of Essentially Fresh). We liked that our guests didn’t have to wait around for hours.”
Finding ‘the one’ is hard enough, but once you’ve found the perfect partner, then you must find the perfect dress! Madeleine had a bit of a false start, however. She fell in love with a dress on Instagram that was sold out, so tried to have a replica made. One disaster of a dress later and Madeleine made up her mind to order a structured Toni Maticevski number and she never looked back. “It was perfect.”She tells us. “I think everything happens for a reason and the dress I ended up wearing on the day was definitely the one for me!”

Her dress is amazing. The boys look so sharp, too. Lovely post!
