There’s no shortage of stylish men in this fine country of ours, and this year has seen many a dapper groom sharing the limelight with their gorgeous brides. We love nothing more than seeing a handsome gent express his own unique style on his wedding day. Here are some of our favourite looks from 2014.

We love the contrasting tones of Andrew’s terracotta jacket (fantastic with that hair!) and navy daisy-print shirt from Godwin Charli. His beachside breakfast wedding caused quite a stir, particularly this shot by Aparat, which positively pops with colour and style.

Aaron’s 60s-inspired wedding (photographed by Dan O’Day) was packed full of retro charm. An old-school skinny floral-print tie gave a splash of colour to his smart Country Road suit, with a polka dot pocket square completing the eclectic look.

Lennon looked positively debonair in a salmon shirt by Trenery and pale blue blazer by Country Road. His post-elopement portraits were taken by Lost In Love Photography.

Dapper groom

Wearing Converse high tops and an immaculately-groomed handlebar moustache, Simon portrayed the perfect fusion of old and new worlds. His chino and waistcoat ensemble was purchased online from Asos. His Pop-Up wedding was captured by Finch & Oak.

Ted Baker burgundy blazer

With that perfectly groomed fiery beard and burgundy Ted Baker blazer, Grant is the perfect embodiment of the modern gentleman. Popcorn Photography were behind the lens for this cosy winter wedding.

Adam’s love of the vintage aesthetic saw him channelling a little Sinatra on his rainy Fitzroy wedding, captured by Brown Paper Parcel. And who better for the job than Ben Sherman and Ted Baker?

A lover of the Great Outdoors, Ben’s understated outback style suited him to a tee. The warm Byron weather saw him wisely boycott the full suit, instead opting for comfy chinos and check shirt from Roger David, with the iconic Aussie Akubra completing the look. His Byron View Farm wedding was captured by Emma Holcroft of Giddy Up Camera Club.

A vintage velvet blazer and plaid bow-tie, Lucas’ bottle-green ensemble is the embodiment of English gentry. Set against the dramatic landscape of Ossian’s Hall, James Frost captured these incredible portraits.

A groom sporting a top-knot and a beard is a winning formula in our books, and this bare-footed groom is no exception. Noel’s casually untucked outfit from Roger David was perfect for his relaxed beach wedding by Luke Simon Photography.

Blue Oxford blazer and skinny coral tie

Perfectly complimenting the fiery locks of his bride, we love Ange’s bright Jack London neck tie and sky-blue Oxford blazer. His colourful fiesta wedding was captured by Zoe Morley.
