The role of floristry in weddings is constantly evolving. I’m endlessly blown away by the magnificent floral creations I see at weddings, from rambling bouquets, to elaborate floral tablescapes and majestic suspended installations. These days, floral designers are taking cues from sources far beyond fleeting wedding trends and there’s no doubt many have been inspired and influenced by the works of UK Installation Artist, Rebecca Louise Law.
Best known for her epic floral installations, Rebecca Louise Law exhibits in public spaces and galleries and has created site-specific artworks for brands like Hermes, Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci. Most of her works are created from individually suspending thousands of fresh flowers to create immersive environments on a breathtaking scale.
To see one of these works in progress, be sure to watch the Jimmy Choo Behind The Scenes video at the end of this post.
