Jessica & Jason’s Flour Factory Wedding
From the urban venues to the bridal party’s designer outfits and the dark and dramatic floral arrangements, everything about Jessica and Jason’s modern Perth wedding at The Flour Factory screams cool.
The couple chose Peggy Saas to capture their day and loved her moody frames. “We were drawn to Peggy as she creates the most beautiful pictures – they are captivating and romantic,” shares Jess.
It was a desire to do something just a little bit different that led this pair to choose two inner city hotspots as the setting for their big day. “We’re both born and bred in Perth and felt we had been to weddings at almost every venue in the city and down south, all except one – The Flour Factory. As soon as we walked up the stairs, we knew it was the right space for us.”
With their reception venue locked in, nearby art gallery Linton & Kay proved the perfect match for their ceremony, both logistically and stylistically.
Playing chief stylist, Jess enlisted the services of Botanica Naturalis, Micktric Events, Sandford Events and Hire Society to help bring her very clear vision to life. The result was a look Jessica describes as City Romance. “We love that urban city feel, but at the same time wanted softness and femininity. The mix of wooden textures and beautiful dark coloured florals really brought this to life.
