This barefoot beauty and her bearded beau are having quite the cute day on the sand, and with it’s quirky mix of vintage and seaside fodder, we just couldn’t help but share this gorgeous lil Fremantle beach shoot.
Nicknamed ‘She Walks in Beauty’ (a nod to the love poem scrawled on the bride’s veil), this whimsical scene is the product of Perth creatives Anna Rohan of Botanica Naturalis, Alison Henley of The Vintage Table and Peggy Saas Photography.
“We drew inspiration from the beauty of an Australian winter beach,” they tell me, conjuring up an Aussie twist on the winter wonderland theme. Frosty cool tones are dappled with bright florals, and we’re loving those antique crochet-lace tablecloths, strewn with vintage milk glass and silverware.
Model Ellie Jane wore a handmade, hand-stitched gown by local designer Madame Bukeshla, while Matthew donned a tweed Jack London suit with a hand-dyed ombré silk scarf (perfectly matching those luscious locks!) They strolled on the sand to the sound of cello player whose melodies drew a little audience of beach-goers on the day.
