Marina and Cam’s vibrant Fremantle wedding, captured by Kate Drennan, was all about having a good time. These lovebirds threw out the themes and traditions, and opted for a bang-up party instead.
The ceremony took place in Guildhall’s courtyard, and set the scene for a relaxed and fun evening. “My entry was something I had thought about for many years and it was destined to be an epic party entry. Bag Raiders song ‘Shooting Star’ was playing while people cheered and waved sparklers. Everyone danced down the aisle. Cam’s nieces and nephews went down with maracas.”
The North Fremantle venue was an easy choice for this pair. “We viewed a few venues, but when we saw Guildhall we knew it was us. It’s a heritage building, real old style inside and feels just like a comfy home.” As far as styling is concerned, the order of the day was colour, with an abundance of vibrant blooms by The Flowergirl adorning the venue. “I let our florist do as she liked in regards to the flowers, just wanted them nice and bright, unstructured and native.” Bold blooms and dreamy blue bridal style set a tone for the day that was colourful and fun.
