Gwendolynne “Lumiere et L’ombre”

Gwendolynne’s latest campaign for her Spring/Summer collection, Lumiere et L’ombre (Light and Shadow) was shot at one of Australia’s Grandest Historical buildings; Werribee Mansion. The new range celebrates the designers’ love of light through transparent fabrics and sublime beading, that are her signature ethereal style.

Gwendolynne draws inspiration from the elegantly somber and decadent mood of the 1920s. With models reclining in a picturesque conservatory within Werribee Mansion, the Art Deco inspired gowns transcend into another era.

Be sure to watch the exquisite fashion film at the end of this post. Gwendolynne says “there is nothing more enchanting than seeing the garments in motion & exploring all the different angles and aspects of a beautiful woman in the creations. The way the light moves through the fabric as the dresses float is mesmerizing.”
