If you’re going to elope you may as well do it properly! And by properly, we’re talking hitching a helicopter ride to a snow-capped mountain where it’s a pretty safe bet you’re not going to run into another living soul as you say “I do”.
Photographer Bonnie Jenkins joined forces with Fantail Weddings and Inflite Mt Cook to bring together this jaw-dropping elopement shoot staring lovers Nils and Sumin, set in the ruggedly beautiful Aoraki / Mount Cook region of New Zealand.
With makeup by Remarkable Beauty NZ and wearing a gown by Yolancris from Novia Brides accessorised with snow boots and a wide-brimmed hat, this bride is not to be outdone by the stunning scenery. Her bouquet of blooms complements the muted palette of the surrounding wilderness whilst the groom’s suit by ASOS adds a subtle pop of colour.
And, well, what can we say about the scenery that’s not already abundantly clear from these images? Whether it’s dramatic mountain views or quaint huts by the river that float your boat, this untouched terrain will be sure to take your breath away.
