Natalie & David’s Jewel-Toned Wedding at The Old Pickle Factory

In this classic case of girl next door for, Natalie took a teaching job in a small country town in WA’s Wheatbelt and quickly hit it off with fellow teacher and neighbour David. Sharing a passion for cooking and a love for their jobs, it wasn’t long before their story began. Their jewel-toned wedding at The Old Pickle Factory in West Perth was the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything they love with everyone they love, captured by the uber talented, James Simmons Photography.
The couple had a sleek, timeless vision for the day, which came to life with the assistance of Emma from M Events and Laura from Pop-Up Planning. Both planners were given creative license to do what they do best. Natalie advises, “Having a wedding coordinator was essential. They took over vendor communication in the lead up and coordinated set up for everything on the day.”
They tied the knot at St Mary’s, a charming church in Leederville where Natalie and David had an extended invitation for the ceremony that allowed them to be surrounded by many family members, loved ones and even some of their students. Sharing traditional vows and concluding with a unity candle ceremony which symbolises two lives and families joining together as one.
The party then made their way to The Old Pickle Factory in West Perth to continue the festivities. The factory was the perfect blank canvas for their reception, the bride shares ”We had the freedom to make it just the way we wanted and with an A-list of vendors, our vision came to life. From the knockout floral hanging installation by the endlessly talented Signature Floral Design to the sleek reflective black dance floor from The Dance Floor Co, It was the perfect setting to sip cocktails and dance the night away!”
