Inspiration
Luminous, Art-inspired Editorial at Heide Museum

A modern art aesthetic and otherworldly colour palette came together for this styled shoot on the grounds of the Heide Museum of Modern Art. Photographer Emma Wise and a crew of talented Melbourne vendors let their creativity run wild.
Contemporary yet bold blooms were combined with textures, sculptures and coloured glass, to form a tablescape in the style of a still life painting. “We wanted to go over the top with flowers and have it almost fantasy to breathe life into it like a colour palette.” Floral stylist Gillian Pollard was more than up for the challenge, creating vibrant arrangements that are straight out of a dream.
Talented baker Renate Elise created a watercolour and brushstroke cake, which tied in perfectly with the artistic theme and vibrant tone of the day. Bride Liilia wore designs from Catherine R Couture‘s new collection, chosen for their sculptured and modern shapes. Bright and bold makeup and minimalist hair by Sophie Knox complete this ethereal bridal look.
