Jemma & Garry’s Margaret River Wedding at Howard Park

Styled by The Wedding Concept with a simple palette, glasshouse marquee, and full of romantic details, Jemma and Garry’s Howard Park winery wedding had the makings of a modern, classic affair. Though this didn’t mean their day fell short of unique. The couple added their own individual spin by including their fur baby Blu Bear in the ceremony and pictures, and choosing some stunning boho pieces that definitely have our tick of approval. Jemma and Garry count themselves incredibly lucky to have scraped in their wedding literally days before the COVID crisis hit Australia. Kelly Harwood Photography shares the gorgeous snaps from the special day.

The Bridal Party

Jemma was a perfect boho vision, wearing the Adara Dress – a white lace gown with exposed shoulders and flowy sleeves – by Rue de Seine, purchased from Fremantle boutique Through the White Door. Keeping family close to her heart, Jemma wore her nannie’s bracelet and had her auntie’s broach attached to her unstructured bridal bouquet by Fox + Co Flowers. Tying in seamlessly, Jemma’s bridesmaids also wore white in assorted Bec and Bridge dresses.

The Ceremony

For the ceremony, the couple admit Howard Park ticked all the boxes – from the aesthetic look of the venue (particularly the beautiful long driveway of trees), the wonderful staff and great wine. Besides the breathtaking view of the trees and vines, stealing at least some of the spotlight was the beautiful arbour. Made from woven vines and branches, the arbour was  dressed with blooms by Fox + Co Flowers and styled by The Wedding Concept with a boho rug at its feet – so dreamy!

Some words of wisdom

“Engage with a wedding planner so they can assist with those items you aren’t sure of, or with the whole thing” advises Jemma, who entrusted The Wedding Concept to bring her vision to life. ” And have a videographer!” She shares. “It is the most magical feeling to look back and see the day unfold in a short video.”
