Known for its botanical splendour and industrial warehouse feel, Melbourne venue Glasshaus Inside hosted Lindy and Tom’s late afternoon wedding, which was equal parts swanky and relaxed. Photographed by It’s Beautiful Here, their non-traditional affair captured the best of inner-city Melbourne living.
Opting for a late afternoon ceremony, Lindy and Tom spent a relaxed morning with their loved ones; not a rushed individual in sight! Then, with 65 guests comfortable on plush antique couches from One Big Day Event Hire, the couple read their own vows in a memorable ceremony amongst the lush green ambience, led by celebrant Kate Morgan.
To avoid leaving their guests waiting or travelling, it was important to Lindy and Tom that their guests jump straight into the cocktail reception. While guest were busy with raoming canapes from Tasty Morsels, the bridal party snuck off for some seriously gorgeous snaps, complete with Lindy’s stunning long sleeve Mariana Hardwick gown, Tom’s forest-green checked blazer from Twisted Tailor, and lush bouquets designed by Botanics of Melbourne.
While some couples find it hard to stay calm on their wedding day, Lindy and Tom credit their relaxed attitude to having complete trust in their vendors. From photographer It’s Beautiful Here to hair and make-up artist Chloe Ellouise, Lindy and Tom say they could enjoy their day because they knew they had a great team behind them.
