When the venue they’d booked started to pile on the restrictions, Kelleigh and Tom knew it was time for a change of plan. At T minus 6 months, their other choices were fully booked, but as luck had it, Kelleigh’s folks had a lush backyard that was practically begging to throw a wedding.
“My parents’ garden is like their 4th child,” Kelleigh explains, adding that it took a little pleading to get the green light. After weeks of toil, they had the space looking tip top and ready for the styling prowess of Butcher Baker Stylist Creator. Leaning toward a modern tropical vibe, the garden was decorated in deep green foliage by Poppy’s Flowers with white and copper accents throughout. Best of all, it came with zero restrictions. “We could serve the food and drink that we wanted and had guests partying until 3am!”
Keeping things relaxed was top of the agenda for Kelleigh and Tom, who tell us they couldn’t have made a better choice of photographer than CJ Williams. “Carly was super chilled and knew we were both feeling a bit awkward about having to pose for photos, so didn’t force the point. She caught everyone having a great time which is exactly what we wanted!”
