Elegant meets Wild Wedding Inspiration at Moana Hall

The timeworn beauty of Perth’s historical Moana Hall was the inspiration behind this styled shoot by Flights of Fancy and a veritable dream team of WA creatives. Built in 1908, this inner city venue is undergoing refurbishment and will be opening later this month as a bar and event space.
Captured by Kate Drennan, the blank canvas space was transformed into an elegant dinner party setting. Grey velvet chairs and marble and gold décor from Heart Strings Hire & Style worked beautifully with the architecture of the building.
Smoky pendant lights from Micktric Events hung above wild and dramatic floral arrangements by Signature Floral Design. Green linen napkins by The Tailored Table complimented the minimalist stationery suite by Paper Fusion. A three tier green cake from The Cake and I made a dramatic statement sitting atop a simple white plinth, framed by a gold arbor.
Model Alison Kong glowed with natural makeup and hair by Elicia Rose wearing a skirt and top combination by Chosen by One Day from North Fremantle bridal boutique Through the White Door.
Kristy from Flights of Fancy tells us this shoot was team effort in the truest sense. “Sarah (Heart Strings Hire), Annaliese (Signature Floral Design) and I have worked together on weddings but had never done a styled shoot together so we were really excited to collaborate. It was one of those projects where everyone was on the same page and brought their own ideas and creativity within the brief to put something really special together.”
