According to Daniela and Luke, the benefit of planning a wedding in just a few months is that you don’t overthink things. And if this beautifully elegant day is what comes from not overthinking then we are all in favour!

Despite the couple’s absence of overthinking, everything about this wedding captured by Peggy Saas was thoughtfully curated, from the stationery with its botanical motifs designed by the bride, to the flow of the reception at The Shorehouse with an extended cocktail hour, sit-down main course and canape-style desserts to allow for maximum guest interaction.

With its relaxed beachside vibe, The Shorehouse was the ideal choice for Daniela and Luke who were after a venue that required minimal decoration. They share, “The reception venue was chosen as it is both beautiful in design and location and the food was delicious. We also needed to sit approx. 150 guests but did not want a hotel function room. Laura, the event manager, was also great and we were able to customise all aspects of the evening.”

The pair had high praise for the vendors who helped them bring their day together, telling us they’d happily recommend every one of them. “I don’t know how we struck it so lucky and met such wonderful people who made the process of planning a wedding in a short amount of time such an enjoyable process.”
