Jessica & David’s Montville Chapel Wedding

Queensland natives, Jessica and David are quite the storybook couple. They met and fell for one another at Arts College, David proposed in a tree-house filled with candles and they tied the knot in a chapel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Oh, the romance! Best of all, Morgan Roberts was there to capture their happily-ever-after on camera.

With a venue as divine as The Chapel, elegance was a given and Jessica and David’s Montville wedding reminisced European charm. “We knew we wanted to get married in The Chapel before it had even finished being built!” Jessica tells us. “The amazing stone masonry and stained glass with Swarovski crystals are breathtaking. Inside the floor is white onyx and gold – we had never seen anything quite like it before. We were so lucky to be one of the first couples to get married there.”

The elegant theme flowed into the Poets Café reception – think beeswax candles, green foliage and lush white blooms thanks to Mondo Floral Design.

Jessica was a picture of vintage-class in an embellished, long-sleeved lace Vera Wang gown and a starry embroidered veil by Sydney’s Hatmaker. Studded Valentino heels gave this bride a modern twist and we're loving her regal look.

Photographer, Morgan Roberts captured some beauties on the day and we especially love the golden-hour shots of the bridal party roaming the grassy knolls of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Absolutely magical!

This timeless all-white bouquet by Mondo Floral Design tied seamlessly into the day's modern classic theme.

Jessica and David have some wisdom to impart to other brides and grooms to be. “Enjoy every minute of it,” they tell us. “It's such a special time and is over too soon. We had a ball planning our wedding day and wouldn't have changed a single thing about it!”
