Rich jewel tones and luxurious details came together for this moody wedding shoot, from the minds of photographer Amanda Afton and a stellar team of Perth based creatives. The lofts of Monk Brewery in Fremantle provided plenty of inspiration for the the dark-meets-light collaboration.
Amanda shares their vision for the day, “We opted to stray from the industrial style of weddings that Perth venues tend to dictate. The theme for the shoot was inspired by the dark venue and it’s bright window light combo, the recent winter wedding trend and food!”
The Cook In The Hat provided a decadent grazing table, which was woven with textural elements, gold accents and cascading blooms in a rich colour palette. Complimenting the candlelit space, Her Beautiful Mess styled textiles in regal hues with velvety Victorian furniture from Her Handpicked Harvest. For a modern touch, the team styled a contrasting neon sign from Electric Love Perth combined with dramatic florals and gold painted roses by Sir Botanical.
Their gorgeous bride wore dramatic makeup by a Brush with Colour, and kept things local in a sleek Karen Willis Holmes gown and Kezani crown, with the groom donning a super sleek, all black suit from Penguins Formalwear.
