One Day Bridal’s 1985 collection is named for the year the Melbourne label’s Founder and Creative Director, Khya Simpson, was born.
A nod to the influential women in her life, the designer has named each gown in the collection after a woman who has helped shape and support her – and who wouldn’t love having one of these incredible pieces named after them?
The campaign, shot by Melbourne wedding and fashion photographers Erin & Tara, marries opulent surroundings, old world glamour and 80’s it girl style.
This collection truly boasts a dress for every bride, from glamorous, full-skirted numbers to sleek, figure-hugging cuts and understated designs in luxurious fabrics. The pieces require 4 months for production, and are available from the One Day Bridal South Melbourne showroom.
