Emma & Tom’s Evening Wedding at Panama Dining Room

We’re head over heels for this Melbourne couple’s golden hour wedding. Snapped by It’s Beautiful Here, Emma and Tom held their moody nuptials in the late afternoon light at the lofty Panama Dining Room in Fitzroy.
After a mutual decision that it was time to tie the knot, the pair were engaged and planning their day in no time. The underlying vibe of the day was ‘dark and stormy’, which (Emma joked) suited the nature of their relationship.
The pair decided to break away from tradition, holding a short 10-minute ceremony at 5pm, sans bridesmaids and groomsmen. Emma did however gain herself an impromptu flower girl, as her niece refused to let go of her hand! Clutching Emma’s hand with one hand and a large pine cone in the other (which she’d found in the gardens prior to the ceremony and refused to put down), the couple joked that their wedding hashtag should have been #pinecone.
As if we didn’t love this couple enough already, they decided to read a handwritten message about marriage equality at their ceremony. They also decided to support local female-run businesses in planning their wedding – they all did nothing short of an amazing job.
