After first meeting on a night out, it was only apt that this bride and groom threw a party to celebrate their joyous wedding – in true Matt and Bec form! The cocktail style affair took place at the lofty industrial space, Pakenham St Art Space in Fremantle, WA. Liz Jorquera had a ball photographing this laid back wedding, with the bride and the groom taking their usual spot in the middle of the d’floor.

Mimicking their first meeting, the couple wanted to create a relaxed, party atmosphere on their big day, making sure guests boogied the night away and enjoyed a few too many tipples. In between the groovin’, guests munched on morsels from Creative Catering and sipped on espresso martinis and watermelon brambles by The Crafty Barman… delish!

The venue’s industrial flair worked well with the natural, organic theme; with semi exposed brick, polished concrete and large wooden beams. DY.o Events certainly got the greenery memo, creating one hella’ stunning arbour draped in foliage and sparse white and burgundy florals
