We have such respect for couples who not only deal with rain on their wedding day, but embrace it. As well as the weather, Lauren & Mitch contended with a bull ant attack and an ill-positioned stick that tripped Lauren and drew blood as she walked down the aisle!
Fair play to this gorgeous couple, who took the autumn downpour and other mishaps in their muddy strides, and shared a stunning forest wedding with their nearest and dearest. They then took the party back to Mitch’s folks place for a relaxed affair catered by Taco Truck.
DIY lovers won’t be disappointed, Lauren tells us “ We did everything ourselves! We made planter boxes, grew flowerpots, made benches, collected twigs for the alterpiece, made table runners, collected glasses, bottles and vases.” Lauren was chief event stylist and utilised the talents of close friends for the flowers and entertainment. You may notice the handsome brogues that Mitch is sporting, which were designed and created by Lauren & Mitch’s artisan footwear label, &Attorney.
Mitch and Lauren’s beautiful wedding was perfectly captured by James Looker Photography.
