Damian and Jenna met where every good small-town love story begins – at the local pub! One proposal at the top of Jourama Falls later, and this laidback couple snatched up their dream house to host their rustic front yard wedding, complete with tipis and boho styling, all photographed by SB Creative Co.

Tyto Wetlands was the perfect backdrop for Damien and Jenna’s ceremony in front of 130 guests. Letting the surrounding bush setting do the talking, Jenna walked down an aisle of Persian rugs before coming to a native leaf arbour created by stylist Annette Pennisi. Tying in seamlessly with the surrounds, Jenna’s unstructured bridal bouquet by St .Floral added a pop of serious colour to her breathtaking Avril gown by Rue de Seine.

Living out of town, Damian and Jenna were adamant they didn’t want to put their guests through the long trek home. Accordingly, their front yard hosted not only their cosy reception, but their guests’ tents too! Keeping with the relaxed boho theme, the couple opted for no seating arrangements with rows of wooden tables, bench seats, rugs and bocce sets, cleverly made by the groom. As for the food, local Catering by Sharon took care of the fodder, including a grazing table to kick off the party before Damian and Jenna enjoyed their first dance to some epic fireworks.

And the fun didn’t stop at the end of the night. “To top it off, it was pretty awesome waking up the next morning to friends who had camped the night and sharing our first breakfast as husband and wife with them,”Jenna shares. “It felt like the party never ended!
