Nikita & Kieran Part 2 – a Bushland Wedding at St Joseph’s Guesthouse

Nikita and Kieran’s wedding extravaganza consisted of not one, but two epic weddings. Captured by Nina Claire Photography, the couple kicked off celebrations with a vibrant Hindu affair, followed by a Christian wedding at St Joseph’s Guesthouse.
Circa 1888, the isolated church in the middle of the St Albans bushland had recently been restored to make the most of its picturesque location amidst the mountain tops. The venue was brought to life with native Australian florals by Emma Blomfield and the liveliness of the couple’s guest entourage.
With the talented bride working as a professional textile artist, of course the couple incorporated her ultra-cool creations into their big day; making a range of woven artwork for the ceremony as well as beautiful handcrafted favours for guests.
Consistent with the textile styling, Nikita wore a fabulous, elegant crochet dress, created by a fellow textile artist and made with pure organic cotton. We’re digging the environmentally-friendly wedding vibes!
