Jayde & Matt’s Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding

Lucy Spartalis of She Takes Pictures He Makes Films captured some sweet snaps at Jayde and Matt’s Stones of the Yarra Valley wedding. Among them, one of Matt teary-eyed watching his bride walk down the aisle, and we’ve gotta wonder whether he was thinking back to a moment long before they even started dating…

“We were working in competing companies in the same industry.” Jayde tells us. “We’d see each other at industry events and there was always a bit of friendly rivalry. At one event, about 18 months before we even considered dating, Matt told me (and my colleague) that he was going to marry me one day!” Well if that ain’t self-fulfilling prophecy we don’t know what is!

She Takes Pictures He Makes Films earned rave reviews from Jayde and Matt and Lucy’s talent for capturing emotion is second-to-none. “AMAAAAZING!” says Jayde. “Lucy and her assistant Linda were great fun to have around. We loved Lucy’s non-intrusive and natural documentary style from the get go.”

The pair fell equally hard for Stones of the Yarra Valley, and for good reason. “The venue is naturally rustic and beautiful, so we didn’t want anything over styled,” Jayde tells us. “For us it was about good food, wine, music and having all of the people that meant something to us in the same room.”

It was indigo gowns and floral crowns for the bridesmaids and we love the contrast created by their floor-length Forever New maxi’s.
