Here it is! The biggie… Your top 10 most loved weddings of 2017. And it’s one deliciously mixed bag.

We’ve spent the week looking back at popular styles for bridesmaids and grooms, beautiful bouquets and of course bridal fashion, but today is all about the real weddings that YOU, our wonderful readers, loved the most.

From country wed fests to sophisticated soirees and everything in between, the range of weddings in 2017 certainly kept us on our toes. We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the beautiful couples who shared their stories with us, and the talented photographers and vendors who keep us constantly inspired. Let’s be honest – without you, we’re nothing!

We’re looking forward to more awesome things to come in 2018, but for now… the best from the year that was.

10. Andrea & Matt’s Vintage Garden Party

Andrea and Matt exchanged their forevers on an ocean-view cliff in Attunga Reserve, with Zoe Morley Photography along to capture the view. Andrea’s Lover skirt and top ensemble paired with that stunning berry-toned bouquet by Shady Fig won many hearts, securing a spot in your most loved!

9. Alex & Sheena’s Waitakere Ranges Wedding

With the Waitakere Ranges in their backyard, greenery and nature played a big part in Alex and Sheena’s day, which was captured by Madeline Ireland. Two Foxes Styling worked with their organic theme, adding pops of colour with plenty of lush blooms. Both brides wore custom two-piece dresses by Hera Couture, Sheena mixing it up with a navy skirt.

8. Georgia & Brent’s Gather & Tailor Wedding

With a couple is this cute, it’s no surprise you fell in love with Georgia and Brent! Vibrant blooms by Pomp & Splendour popped against Gather & Tailor’s industrial setting, with a little neon thrown in for good measure. Sayher Heffernan’s fresh photography aesthetic was perfect for this fun, contemporary wedding. And let’s not forget the bride’s gorgeous off-shoulder number by Ellery. Heart eyes!

7. Jesse & Leisa’s Mali Brae Farm Wedding

Lovers of winter, Jesse and Leisa’s cosied it up for their snug wedding at Mali Brae Farm, captured by Lauren Campbell. The bride’s long sleeve floral dress by James Coviello set the tone for the day, enhanced by rich, velvety Fleur & Threads blooms and a feast-style dinner by Violets & Vinegar.

6. Kate & Blake’s Three Day Wed Fest

Knowing a day wouldn’t be enough to celebrate their long-awaited nuptials, childhood sweethearts Kate and Blake threw a three day wed fest to remember at the groom’s family farm. Jason Corroto came along to captured the fun, which included plenty of live music and feasting in KataLane tipis, an epic recovery party and the odd helicopter ride!

5. Pia & Dave’s Surprise Backyard Wedding

We love a surprise and we’re pretty partial to a wedding, so put them together and you’ve won our hearts! Pia and Dave clearly won yours too with their surprise backyard nuptials, styled by The Dreamer & Collector and captured by Nectarine Photography. A natural babe in Grace Loves Lace, Pia opted for a little ink in lieu of a wedding band, courtesy of Holdfast Tattoo.

4. Meg & Jamie’s Beach Villa Wedding in Bali

Through Beck Rocchi’s lens, Meg and Jamie’s sensational celebration played out at a beach side villa in Bali. Meg’s lacy Helen English playsuit and sheer chiffon skirt made waves on social media, as did her gorgeous all-in-white bridal party.

3. Katie & Matt’s Organic Wedding in Whangamata

Relaxed, simple and down to earth, Katie and Matt’s Whangamata wedding rolled all of life’s best bits into one gorgeous day. Captured by Bespoke Photography, the pair adopted an organic theme with plenty of raw textures, DIY details and abuntant greenery courtesy of Arrow Florist.

2. Josh & Vicki’s Glam Cattle Station Wedding

Josh and Vicki weren’t afraid to go large for their big day, setting the tone by arriving on helicopters and horses! With SB Creative Co behind the lens, the day was layered with eclectic DIY details, impressive florals, bohemian accents and plenty of sparkle.

1. Cindy & Eddie’s Art-Inspired Wedding at The Olsen
