Nestled in the heart of Brunswick East, the urban winery Noisy Ritual is just a skip from the sustainably driven café and event space East Elevation – two fitting venues for Jillian and Pete’s stylish Melbourne wedding. The couple wanted to share their local neighbourhood with family and friends by celebrating their love in the place they call home. Photographer Georgia Verrells captures every warm, flower-filled moment of their day.

The bride shares how the venue inspired the style of their urban wedding, “We deliberately picked venues that were already gorgeous, so we didn’t have to do much decorating at all, just the stunning flowers from Cecilia Fox and some festoon lights.” Noisy Ritual is described by Jillian as the perfect ceremony space, as well as being just short stroll to their reception. Their celebrant, Nat Sproal, told their story of adventures shared and just some of the many things they adore about each other.

After a wander down the road to East Elevation, their cocktail style reception kicked off in style. Wanting their guests to feel free to mingle and move about as they pleased, a grand grazing table was the perfect option in lieu of a sit down dinner.  DJ Jess McGuire made sure that every song was bang on for a pumping dance floor, with the party going well into the night.
