If hosting their wedding right in the middle of the gorgeous Whitsundays and making a grand entrance via helicopter isn’t enough to get you swooning over Madi & Kruze’s wedding, just wait until you see the incredible flowers! Married under a sea of Blossom Shoppe flowers while overlooking crystal-blue waters, this wedding had all the relaxing vibes of a coastal wedding but with a few more showstopping moments than most. Photographer Vicki Miller shares all the stunning images.
Flowers by Blossom Shoppe
While Madi & Kruze didn’t have a set theme for their wedding, one element Madi really wanted to hero were the flowers, and Gayette from Blossom Shoppe managed to do just that. “Our flowers were one of the most epic parts of our day and one of the things I was looking forward to seeing the most,” shares Madi. Gayette made all of my flower dreams come true.” Our favourites? Those gorgeous arrangements lining the ceremony pavilion, along with the flower chandelier above the couple’s bridal table later!
Growing up as a helicopter pilots’ daughter, Madi tells us it had been her dream to fly into her wedding, which finally came true. “I feel that we hit the jackpot with not only my dad flying me into the ceremony, but also having the bridesmaids, Kruze and his groomsmen flown in by close family friends,” shares Madi. Landing at wedding venue Earlando, 150 of Kruze & Madi’s friends and family awaited in the ceremony pavilion area surrounded by fresh flowers, terracotta pots and stunning views of the Whitsundays. The ceremony, led by Anne Franzmann, was fun and easy-going. “We exchanged traditional vows with a few little changes to represent us as a couple,” shares Madi. “We also did crowd vows which was quite special.”

Kruze and Madi had only great things to say about their photographer Vicki Miller, who we are told was absolutely fabulous and a perfect choice to capture their special day. “Vicki always seems to be able to help everybody feel comfortable in front of the camera, all while capturing special little moments that may not have been remembered otherwise,” says Madi. “We couldn’t recommend Vicki enough to any newly engaged couple.”
Styled to perfection by Fran and the team at Borrow my Bits, the reception area featured lots of hot pink and terracotta tones, neutral furniture with bohemian style rugs, throws and pillows, and of course that epic flower installation by Blossom Shoppe. “Our day would not have been the same without Fran and the team from Borrow my Bits, pulling all of our ideas together to make them even better then we could have imagined,” remembers Madi. “The team were so easy going and wonderful to work with I honestly could not recommend them enough.” Rather than having a traditionally segregated bridal table, Kruze and Madi opted to sit amongst their guest, something they decided on from the very beginning of wedding planning. “Our seating plan had our bridal table in the middle of the reception with the guests in a herringbone pattern around our table,” shares Madi. Another special touch, each table was named after the couple’s favourite places, from where they met, to the properties they grew up in. While there were so many highlights from the night, Madi says one of her favourites was the farewell firework display, organised as a surprise by Kruze and the team at Earlando. What a grand finish!
