Nicolette & Tom’s Pared Back Winter Wedding
Couples don’t come much cuter than Nicolette and Tom and we can’t get enough of their magical wedding snaps by the brilliant Morgan Roberts. The two tied the knot one drizzly day in June and a friend’s leafy property in Pullenvale made an enchanting location for their intimate affair.
An embroidered Zimmermann number with three-quarter sleeves kept this winter bride warm, while a gorgeous lace crown and Bride La Boheme earrings were the cherry on top of her whimsical look. With Tom in his tailored Stuart’s suit and teal floral tie, these sweethearts looked every bit the fairy tale couple, swapping vows under a giant Moreton Bay Fig tree.
Not even somber weather could rain on Nicolette and Tom’s parade – it only added to the magical mood. Wildly romantic blooms by Primula Floral Styling brightened up the day and when the rains arrived, these newlyweds and their guests took shelter under the marquee, decked out with festoon lights and an abundance of scotch and champagne. Cheers to that!
Taking an nontraditional approach to dining, the pair called in a food favour and we applaud their delicious idea, “We had Briz Wood Fired Pizzas come and just make as much pizza as everyone wanted for a few hours.” Nicolette tells us, “They were absolutely fantastic, delicious food that was really in line with the laid back tone of the day.” You had us at ‘pizza’.
