Inspiration
Wild Woodland Editorial by Peggy Saas
“She treads lightly on the forest floor but the earth still shatters at her beauty. Even the sun is drawn to her. She is best loved and left wild, floating through the trees.”
This was the inspiration behind the latest styled shoot collaboration between Fremantle creatives Peggy Saas and The Auburn Hour Film Co. The team captured an almost mythical quality in this natural woodland setting.
With tousled, free-flowing waves and sun-kissed skin (by The Pretty Parlour) the bride is nymph-like as she frolics over pine-needles and darts between the trees, her Katya Katya Shehurina gowns, sourced by Through the White Door, channeling an ethereal storybook feel.
Botanica Naturalis crafted earthy bouquets of wildflowers and natives, heavy on the foliage with sprinklings of pink – the kind of bouquet this free-spirited bride could have gathered during her wanderings.
Props to photographer Peggy Saas for the enchanting concept – excuse us while we head to the nearest forest for a frolic!
