Renowned for their intricate beaded detailing and aesthetic influences of bygone times, Gwendolynne’s bridal gowns are also known and loved for the freedom of movement afforded to their wearers.
Inspired by this danceability, Cassie Sullivan (of Photography with Cassie) captured moments in motion with dancer, Catherine Rosman. “The gowns were beautiful to work with,” says Cassie. “I wanted to incorporate their intricate feminine softness and flow into an elegant and gentle shoot.”
With gorgeous hair and makeup by Kate McCleary, Catherine danced barefoot in the light-flooded studio. A series of in-between moments, this edgy bridal shoot frames the gowns in an unexpectedly un-posed fashion. We love the blurred motion and soft light bleeding through those translucent fabrics. Somehow real and ethereal at the same time.
