Australian Warehouse Wedding Venues

November 12, 2015
Polished concrete, raw timber and exposed metalwork… there’s something so enticingly textural about a warehouse venue. They are the true blank canvas spaces, with countless styling opportunities begging to be explored under their lofty ceilings.
We love a warehouse wedding here at Nouba, and venue experts WedShed know all the best spots for throwing a chic, industrial event. They’re sharing their favourites from around the country, from mammoth lairs to cozier hidden gems.
Tenth & Gibson / Adelaide, SA
Tenth & Gibson is a 200sqm warehouse space situated in Adelaide’s inner west. The building has been architecturally transformed using recycled materials and provides an awesome clean slate for weddings and events. (Check out Claire & Sam’s Tenth & Gibson wedding.)

Laurens Hall / North Melbourne, VIC
Once home to the Railways Printing Works, light-flooded Laurens Hall features polished concrete floors a handsome display of authentic industrial pieces. (Check out Emma & Robin’s Laurens Hall Wedding.)

Lofty and light-flooded, Laurens Hall is tucked away in the industrial precinct of North Melbourne.
Lightspace / Brisbane, QLD
Hatched from a converted warehouse, Lightspace features lofty designer spaces with a rustic-industrial feel. There’s also a Japanese-inspired outdoor terrace next to the railway line. Plenty of space and scope to bring a creative wedding to life.

Perth City Farm / Perth, WA
Warehouse meets barn at this industrial space. High, exposed ceilings and white-washed walls open out to a large courtyard, surrounded by established gardens and rustic buildings. There’s also an organic nursery and urban farm on the Perth City Farm precinct – perfect for photos. (Check out Fiona & Peter’s Perth City Farm Wedding.)

Spotswood Pumping Station / Melbourne, VIC
One of the most majestic warehouses in Australia, the Pumping Station has three spaces – the Boiler House, Engine Room and Courtyard to utilise for weddings. This unique building has sweeping views of the Yarra River and plenty of historical significance, with classification from the National Trust.

Hi,
My fiance and I love your venues. We are interested in hiring a room in Brisbane for our wedding ceremony like the ones you have displayed. Would you know of any other hidden gems in Brisbane or even the Sunshine Coast where we could hold our ceremony?
Kind regards,
Caleb
