Rhys & Ash’s Wagga Wedding at Uneke Warehouse
Event planner and freelance florist by trade, this bride had all the connections needed to throw a kickass party. Ash and Rhys’ Wagga Wagga wedding at Uneke Warehouse was a romantic and free-spirited affair, captured by the talented Tilly Clifford.
Ash and Rhys took a ‘the more, the merrier’ approach to their guest list, so they were well and truly surrounded by loved ones on the day, particularly during their ceremony. “It was a scorching 46 degrees, we had 140 bodies squished into the chapel with no aircon and a tin roof… let’s just say there was a whole lot of sweaty people, but everyone still had a huge smile on their face!”
The reception at Uneke was styled with lush foliage and vibrant blooms. “The newly refurbished function area has an industrial vibe with remnants of centuries past,” shares Ash. “It’s a real blank canvas that allows you to transform the space into whatever you imagine! I wanted to tap into this and create a wedding that was very chic, but paid homage to the old-world charm of the space.”
The evening was all about party vibes, with a grazing style reception from Lime Leaf Catering and tunes by BC Music. In Ash’s own words; “Who needs a house deposit when you can book a band that has your guests groovin’ all night long!”
